fine art wedding photography for the PNW

Specializing in proposals, engagements, & weddings

I am so glad you're here! My name is Jaclynn. I provide classic fine art photography and museum quality print products for the sentimental couple looking to find fun and peace on their wedding day. I specialize in low and difficult light scenarios, castles, and ballrooms. I'm hoping to bring more sincerity to your wedding day by allowing you to feel the way you do in any moment. Not all brides are quiet and bubbly. Some are bold. Some are sad missing a loved one who couldn't make it.

Wedding days are filled with a VARIETY of emotions. Mostly excitement, nerves, and love. But sometimes, other emotions show up as well. I believe by allowing yourself to feel the way you feel instead of the way every one expects you to feel, you open up to even more. More living, more time well spent, more reality in a reality waning world. Ultimately, I look to guide my brides through their reality that will allow them to look back on their wedding day and smile in peaceful bliss.

MORE ABOUT ME!

2019 - It's like grad school

2015: SJP Was Born. I spent the year wanting to throw my laptop across the room and torch my camera as I learned the ins and outs of the digital photography world.
2016: I figured out a formula to book as many weddings as I wanted and got to work doing exactly that.
2017: ...I learned what it felt like to be OVERBOOKED OVERWORKED and UNDERVALUED.
2018: I recovered from 2017. Started a few intensive photography classes. Photographed 23 weddings and learned what a comfortable schedule felt like for me and my family. I looked up from my laptop and noticed I wasn't in the "style" of photography I wanted to be in.
2019: Decided to "go back to school" to become the best damn fine art wedding photographer you've ever met.
