I am so glad you're here! You've happened by my website during a VERY interesting time for Sincerely Jaclynn Photography. 2019 bookings are currently closed (but get ready; I'll only accept TEN 2020 couples!) as I transition from traditional to fine art wedding photography. I got tired of telling bridesmaids to "laugh" when there was nothing funny. It looked pretty, yes, but did it document an authentic memory? I am not into "good" photos at the expense of a real story.
I will help direct everyone to look their best. I will never tell you to portray emotion you aren't feeling. Only coax you into ALLOWING yourself to feel more fully. Not all brides are quiet and bubbly. Some are authoritative. Some are anxious. Some are sad missing a loved one who couldn't make it. I believe by allowing yourself to feel the way you feel instead of the way every one expects you to feel, you open up to even more. More living, more time well spent, more reality in a reality waning world.

2015: SJP Was Born. I spent the year wanting to throw my laptop across the room and torch my camera as I learned the ins and outs of the digital photography world.
2016: I figured out a formula to book as many weddings as I wanted and got to work doing exactly that.
2017: ...I learned what it felt like to be OVERBOOKED OVERWORKED and UNDERVALUED.
2018: I recovered from 2017. Started a few intensive photography classes. Photographed 23 weddings and learned what a comfortable schedule felt like for me and my family. I looked up from my laptop and noticed I wasn't in the "style" of photography I wanted to be in.
2019: Decided to "go back to school" to become the best damn fine art wedding photographer you've ever met.
